Old Naini Bridge Allahabad–
The Old Naini Bridge (Bridge was opened for public on 15th-August-1865) runs across the Yamuna River in Allahabad . This Bridge is one of the oldest and longest (3,150 feet Long) bridges in India. Bridge connects the city of Allahabad to Naini, Also capable to run railways & roadways simultaneously.
There is a two lane railway line on the upper deck & on the lower deck roadways service is running. There are 13 pillars in bridge and shaped in the form of Elephant’s foot, this characteristic (Elephant’s foot) is very unique.

New Naini Bridge Allahabad–
The New Yamuna Bridge (Also called Naini Bridge) is the longest (total length of the bridge is 1510 m ) cable-stayed bridge of India, runs across the Yamuna River in Allahabad . It was constructed in 2004. The construction was consulted by a Danish consulting company called COWI A/S.
